Well, it is exciting times for us with the commissioning of the new planer/thicknesser, which really is a super-duper piece of gear. Not only that but we also have a new morticer that will make life a lot easier for our cabinet makers.

However we really need to make sure we are familiar with all the equipment we would like to use in our workshop. To that end please ask somebody who does "know the ropes" before you set sail. We don't need any accidents!!

It was with much pleasure the Michael Nassar advised that the "mayor of Turondale" Bill Thomas was on the mend following surgery in Sydney. It is hoped that Bill will be on deck soon – after all he is meant to be running some training in the construction of work benches and he'll be able to put the morticer to good use.

Who said we were just a bunch of silly old farts? Well it's not true! Michael N was delighted to introduce two new members to the Club, Gabby Krulova and her son Zac. Gabby is a dab hand at carving as well as being a driving instructor. Both will be welcome additions to our team.
